FROM THE BOOK/MANUAL DR. LIKEY'S TRANSCENDENCE SYSTEM":
The Structure
Remember that there are three levels or parts to the system. Before starting, a physiologically-based test called "muscle-testing" or "Kinesiology" is performed, to determine where the student is at emotionally, and how their self-esteem is. This is a definite, physical, and noticeable response to certain statements, which will be done again at the end of all three levels to indicate just how much the student has progressed. All three levels are completed over two or three days, depending on the venue's availability, and/or the availability of the student, who receives a certificate of completion, as well as a Level 3 "Reiki Master" certificate and "Transcendence System Master Teacher" certificate, all of them upon successful completion of the course.
Part 1-Four Buddhist-based empowerments (Reiki Reijus) are given, raising one's energy level up four times as powerful as when you started. This allows for a cleanse on a physical level, of emotional issues; self-treatment is crucial at this point to aid in the assimilation of the Reiki energy, as well as to ease the symptoms of cleansing (such as headache) which may manifest. In-between the empowerments, one receives the gift of knowledge of the sacred methods to Mystical, or Contact Meditation, further allowing healing on all levels, plus an eventual higher, and different perspective of life. At least four different meditation techniques are learned and practiced in-between the empowerments in Level 1. Self-treatments are taught and practiced at this level as well. Basic New Thought philosophies are also discussed.
Level 2-One receives the three sacred Reiki symbols along with their corresponding kotodamas; practice and use of these, between the two Level 2 empowerments is done, in addition to an introduction to Scientific Prayer. One's energy level further rises from a level three to one during the reijus, resulting in one being able to give more powerful self-treatments, as well as treatments for others, if desired. One begins to heal on an emotional level at this time, so that combined with the practicing of Spiritual Prayer and Mind-Treatments, one begins to identify issues and heal them. This is accomplished naturally and unconsciously during Mystical Meditation which is practiced here, in addition to the conscious realization of emotional issues which are worked through using the tool of Scientific Prayer. More advanced New Thought concepts are discussed.
Level 3-One receives the "Master" Reiki symbol, crucial for performing the empowerments or Reijus. One receives their most powerful and final attunement/initiation, which raises them up vibrationally to the highest potential for self-healing and initiating other's self-healing. Practice of giving reijus, Reiki-healings, as well as practice of Scientific Prayer is done. Students pair up, doing various exercises and tools for feeling energy; more advanced students may see their own, as well as other's energy-field or aura. Hypnotherapy and meditation are discussed and reviewed, in addition to practicing Mystical Meditation along with Scientific Prayer. Distant healing, using Reiki and/or Scientific Prayer is practiced.
A final Kinesiology exercise is done and everyone sees that their self-esteem and self-worth/love is far better than when they started on this journey.
Each student is given an oral competency exam involving their knowledge of the "Transcendence System" and the corresponding healing techniques. An assessment is done to see if they will receive their "Master/Teacher" certification, or simply the "Master" certificate, along with their certificate of completion and Reiki certificate.
